Surfing is an amazing experience. Few things are as exhilarating as zipping across the face of a wave. . Have you ever said to yourself, ‘Self, one of these days you really have to learn how to surf.’ No matter what your skill, experience or ability, our mission is to safely insure you have fun, feel good about yourself and experience the thrill of surfing. Well, don’t waste time talking. This summer, get yourself to the Paskowitz Surf Camp and learn the exciting sport of surfing.

My name is Izzy Paskowitz and for over thirty years, my camp has been teaching everyone from rank beginners to competitive surfers the thrill of riding waves. The quality of our instruction is unmatched-- no one has more time in the water or has more experience giving individual instruction than our staff. And every one of our instructors has been thoroughly trained in open ocean safety, CPR & first aid.

Our curriculum is designed to give you personalized, easy to understand instruction with an emphasis on safety and progressive learning. Paskowitz Surf Camp is a fun, non-threatening way to learn how to surf--everyone develops at his or her own pace. With our three to one student to teacher ratio we have most people up and riding on waves after only a single day of instruction!

Our camp is held just south from the famous Tourmaline Surfing Park, at the northern end of Pacific Beach in sunny San Diego. Gentle waves and a backdrop of dramatic coastal cliffs make it an ideal spot for the beginning surfer. There is no question that Paskowitz Surf Camp is the ideal place to learn. We take care of everything for you—comfortable tent camping accommodations on Mission Bay, tasty and healthy meals, and of course surfing equipment and instruction. Camp supervision is provided by friendly camp counselors. For over thirty years we have been host to thousands of campers from 4-80. Your children are fully cared for and supervised from the minute their plane train or automobile lands to the moment they go home. When not surfing we provide fun and enriching activities from marshmallow roasts to Luau to surf films. We insure self esteem, respect and sensitivity to the environment. The only thing left for you to do is have fun.
